Trisha Adams - LoudounPedia
Trisha Adams’ paintings are spontaneous, fresh and dynamic, and viewers easily connect to the spirit behind her work. Color and brushwork infuse her paintings with vitality encouraging the viewer to look at everyday scenes with a new eye.

Trisha Adams, a painter or still life's and landscapes, was born and raised in California, but moved to Virginia shortly after college where she lives today. She began working in advertising at a newspaper where she met her husband, Sean Adams, a journalist. After the birth of their first child, she opened a graphic design business which she successfully ran for more than a dozen years.

In 2001, Trisha Adams turned her focus to painting. She has been fortunate to study extensively with master painter, Maggie Siner, both in the US and in Provence. Her studies also include a seminar in California with Ted Goerschner.

Today, Trisha Adams is a full-time painter with studio space in a complex housing 15 artists. Her paintings have been featured in two designer showcases, in an episode of “This Old House,” and in an upcoming book, “Best of America: Oil Artists & Artisans, 2006.” Her painting, “Rockland Farm,” was the first painting purchased for the town of Leesburg’s permanent art collection. She teaches painting for the Loudoun Academy of the Arts.
