Town Council
Town council terms are four years, elections are held every other year on the first Tuesday in May. The next elections will be held in 2008. Anyone interested in serving on the Town Council must live within the town limits of Hamilton, and complete an application available from the Loudoun County Electoral Board.
Planning Commission
The Planning Commission is appointed by the town council. Terms are four years in length. Members must live within the town limits. As openings are created on the commission, an announcement seeking the replacement of that member will be advertised by the Town Council. At that time, those persons interested in the position may announce themselves to the town council for consideration.

Please contact the town office regarding large items for hauling by the Tuesday morning prior to regular pick up so that special requests can be made of the refuse company.
