Loudoun Emergency Homeless Shelter

Loudoun Emergency Homeless Shelter's mission is to offer emergency intervention and stabilization, thus moving those we serve one-step closer to becoming independent and self-reliant.

Loudoun Transitional Program

The Loudoun Transitional Program is a residential program operated by VOA under contract to Loudoun County Department of Family Services. The program serves as a bridge from crisis or emergency shelter to self-sufficiency and permanent housing. The goal of the Loudoun Transitional Program is to provide a supportive and positive environment as well as safe housing and needed services to individuals and families who are homeless.

Loudoun Volunteer Financial Council

The mission of Loudoun Volunteer Financial Council is to improve the financial self-reliance and social well-being of Loudoun County residents and families through the provision of information and training in financial planning, budgeting and credit management. Loudoun Volunteer Financial Council oversees the recruiting and training of volunteers and the development of a network with other agencies and private groups with mutual concerns for the financial stability of families in our community.

Rebuilding Together w/ Christmas in April Loudoun County

For 13 Years, Rebuilding Together w/ Christmas in April * Loudoun County has changed the lives of individuals facing challenges. Christmas in April has impacted lives throughout the community by rehabilitation of deteriorating houses. With no place to turn, Christmas in April steps in and provides volunteers and resources to help these citizens overcome the disadvantages they face and to provide a better way of life.

The Good Shepherd Alliance

The Good Shepherd has been providing emergency housing, food, clothing, transportation, job referral assistance, and counseling for the homeless since 1983. We believe in the inherent dignity of all human life and the right of every individual to obtain decent affordable housing. By combining our community resources we can increase the quality of life regardless of race, color, religion, handicapping conditions, or national origin.
