There are several options and each has its own conditions—

This shelter is open from 11/15/07 until 3/31/08 and is for adults, 18 and older.
A bus will pick up people in front of the Shenandoah Office Building, 102 Heritage Way, Leesburg, VA, about 9:30PM. They are returned the next morning about 7:30AM. A meal is provided as are vouchers to get clothing from the Salvation Army Store.
2. Volunteers of America, 703-669-4921
This is a shelter for families, no single men allowed; fathers may stay with their families.
3. Good Shepherd Alliance, 703-433-2631 GSA has a shelter for women and children, including single women. There is a day drop in center too.
Loudoun County’s MH/MR has a program called PATH. Although they do not provide shelter, Path works with the mentally ill and may be another resource.
