There are several options and each has its own conditions
1. Salvation Army 703-771-3371 (Mon-Fri, 7:30AM-4:30PM) After 4:30PM and on weekends, 571-436-1506

This shelter is open from 11/15/07 until 3/31/08 and is for adults, 18 and older.

A bus will pick up people in front of the Shenandoah Office Building, 102 Heritage Way, Leesburg, VA, about 9:30PM. They are returned the next morning about 7:30AM. A meal is provided as are vouchers to get clothing from the Salvation Army Store.

2. Volunteers of America, 703-669-4921

This is a shelter for families, no single men allowed; fathers may stay with their families.

3. Good Shepherd Alliance, 703-433-2631 GSA has a shelter for women and children, including single women. There is a day drop in center too.

Loudoun County
s MH/MR has a program called PATH. Although they do not provide shelter, Path works with the mentally ill and may be another resource.


Library Branches also will provide Bus Tokens for those in need to receive the necessary transportation.
